CTR offers a professional service to the discerning racer. We are equally at home designing a diffuser for a bike engined sports car as we are designing a new cylinder head/liner assembly for a race engine. We have extensive in house machining capabilities including milling, turning, EDM, surface grinding and all types of welding. However we appreciate that some jobs may be outside our own capabilities and we can call on a number of industry specialists who will help us deliver the job on time.

Traditionally, our customers have been from the Porsche racing world where we have been dominant behind the scenes. Our own car holds the lap record at almost every UK circuit, and some in Europe too, whilst our customers enjoy the same level of success in their chosen field. Recently we have expanded our interest to the rapidly growing area of bike engined sports cars and we will be entering our own car in the 750 Motor Club Bike Sports championship as well as the fledgling BESCR championship. In traditional CTR spirit we have taken an unusual car and have developed both the chassis and engine to such a point as we hope and expect it to be a winner. In its standard form the car, a Lynx LR1300, is a beautiful and well engineered racer. However, we have used our bespoke simulation software and suspension design package to tune the chassis into what we expect to be something truly rather special. We have used the same philosophy with the engine and in conjunction with two other industry experts, SBD Motorsport and Omega Pistons, have designed and produced unique internals for the 1300 cc engine.

So, what can CTR offer you? We will give you unbiased advise and will help you to the full level of our ability. We will not promise to make you win, nor will we promise to build you the fastest engine but we will do our best. What we will promise is that we will help you get the most from the sport at the most economic level possible.
