Hayabusa GearPot

CTR Developments has designed a new product for the Suzuki Hayabusa engine. When using a closed loop paddleshift, such as GEARTRONICS, it is imperative to accurately know the position of the gear barrel. The standard engine uses a discrete gearpot merely to tell the ECU which gear it is in, rather than where the barrel actually is, to limit power in lower gears and top speed in the higher gears.

CTR Developments has designed a system to mount an EXTERNAL gearpot into the Hayabusa driven directly from the gear selection barrel, as used successfully on the CTR Arachnid. This allows, for the first time, use of true closed loop gear selection methods on the Suzuki Hayabusa

The system is initially selling for £250 per upgrade. We can either supply the parts directly to you, with fitting instruction, for you to fit yourself, or if you prefer you can send us you gear selection barrel and we can do the upgrade for you. We can also supply very high quality dual output hall effect rotary pots for the system if required.
