Air Ducting

The heat reflective ‘stuff’ has a sticky back to it and I assume is up to the task. After sticking it to the airbox as shown before I trimmed it back to suit the curve of the body. It actually looks a little lopsided, but that is because the airbox is not in the centre of the car as its offset from the centre of the engine. Until I realised this I thought that something was drastically wrong!I then used some ally tape to cover the edges and the raised rear section. This actually came out pretty well, yes I know the top edge will get bent around a bit, but I dont think that really matters! I also stuck a small bit of the heat reflective gaff on the underside of the box close to the exhaust.

After making another structure for the right hand scoop duct, it was time to pipe it all up. You can see below that the pipe has to go underneath and then back round the rear facing cage support to clear the body.

The left side was much simpler! Perhaps it would have been easier to make both side like this, but then it would have been very close to the exhaust!

Left Hand Duct

It all looks a bit tech from behind! The camera angle makes everything look like its been wrapped around a tree, but I promise it hasnt!

Air Feeds

I then set about gluing the scoops to the body itself. After a generous helping of glue I left it to dry with some, probably now knackered, cliquos holding it all together.
