In order to help the engine I am trying to get a nice source of cold air to the inlet trumpets. What I have decided is to draw in the air and duct it to a box around the inlets. I wanted to keep the original ally base plate for the filter as it is made of a ‘hard’ ally and should be better, so have made up this plate to go below the base plate and then weld a return all the way around.

Chain Guard
Sunday, September 20th, 2009The regs for the 750 motor clubs Bikesports say that you are supposed to have a chain guard which covers the upper face of the chain to the same depth of the axle line. I cant see this actually doing anything practical, apart from keeping the chain grease off the bodywork. Anyway, I made some cardboard templates and have finally got around to making it.
