Its always good to be prepared. To that end I have got myself a load of different springs for the font and rear. I am not sure which will be needed, but quite often we change springs for different trqacks, and obviously for wet/dry, so you end up with a load of different ranges!

Springs
Saturday, August 22nd, 2009Front Damper Spacers
Saturday, August 22nd, 2009Whilst sorting the front bump stops, I noticed, although I should have done before, that the front right damper was able to rotated just enough to rub the steering column. It was going to be a problem in itslef, like locking the column, but it was going to damage the canister, so I thought I whould stop it from being able to rotate enough. So I knocked up a couple of nylon spacers to limit the rotation.
Bump Stops
Saturday, August 22nd, 2009Now I have almost finished setting the car up. All that is left to do is the corner weights. But before I set these I thought it best to get some bump stops. I might not need them but seeing as I dont really know I thought if I had some I could experiment with them. So I had to remove the front dampers, disassemble them, slide on the bumpstop and then reassemble.
Windscreen
Monday, August 17th, 2009The next major job on the list was the windscreen. I had a net to draw around, from the mould, to get the shape. The screen is made from 6mm Lexan, polycarb, with an anti-scratch coating (Not sure how long that will last but its worth a try).
