I wanted to get the front suspension on, but first I had to knock up some new steering arms. The others were really a little too short. I didn’t like the amount the rosejoints were screwed out. So I made some new ones, but this time I made them from solid ally bar. They are actually slightly lighter that the originals,and slightly longer, so all is not lost!

Head Pad
Sunday, August 2nd, 2009Again, not a massive job, but still a job! I bolted on the head padding base, and taped the padding on. It seems fairly spongy but I suppose only time will tell.
Water Expansion Tank
Sunday, August 2nd, 2009Continuing the watery theme, I have found a bottle for a trial expansion tank. Not sure what it was but I found it in a cupboard in the kitchen! The pipe is some old kart fuel line but seems to fit the job quite well.
