Next up was to mount and fill the diff. Not the most difficult task but still needs to be done. The black gunge around the CV bearing housing is silicon to seal it as otherwise oil might weep out between the bearing and the diff plates.
I then installed the CV’s to fully seal the diff, and poured as much oil as I thought right, I did leave an air gap to allow for heat expansion.

I then installed the wing frame around the diff. This is not painted yet as I had intended to possibly weld some tags to mount the diffuser to, but I now dont intend to do that, but only after having a look at all this!

The wing mounts themselves needed to be trimmed to allow for the diffuser. These are made of duralumin and ads so are HARD. I used a jigsaw but it still took about 10 mins per plate, which to cut 6 inches of 1/4 inch plate material is a LONG time!

Once all back together I turned up 2 bosses to make the diffuser mounts, you can just about see these on the upper wing plate mounts.
Again, I ran out of time, so this will have to wait for next week!
