After much fanfare and promise the initial 2009 aero kit has arrived.
The first job was to install the flow straighteners. I have decided to just glue these in, so first job was to key the surface/ You can just about see in the picture below 2 faint lines down the diffuser.
I left this lot to dry overnight. You can see that there is a reasonable return all the way around the diffuser. This will need to be trimmed slightly but it should increase the strength of it.
After the glue was dry, it was time to start fitting the diffuser. The first job was to trim it to fit around the rear of the chassis.
This was about all that I had time to do. Hopefully I will get this all finished next weekend, although I dont have a full weekend as I am spending Saturday in London.
