Dont get too excited expecting to see some glorious piece of carbon! However the diffuser has been designed, and in fact should be made hopefully next week. But so that I could get the chassis off to paint I needed to weld on some tags to mount the diffuser.
I had to set everything at the correct angle and used an old plenum base as a suitable piece of plate. This I set at the right angle and clamped into place. I then just cut up some remaining pieces from the original splitter and welded them on. I had though about making all this quickly removable, but seeing as hopefully it wont have to come off very often, I decided to put a couple of hardpoints into the diffuser and just bolt it on. That said 4-5 bolts is not exactly going to take too long to remove!
