Due to the changes, I needed to remake the drivers side ally panel. I thought about just using the original and adding another panel along the side but it wouldnt have really fitted and just looked naff! So I redesigned the panel in solidedge and got it bent up. Then it was pretty easy to get it to the stage it was all at before.
As ut was impossible to include the rear upward bend in the original net I had to make yet another small panel to fill in the gap. Below is a pic of the final jobbie. Not exactly complicated, but I still made a cardboard template before transfering to ally.

To clarify what the hell I am on about, here it is on the car. The panel doesnt really do anything for the car, but will stop all the crud flying off the rear tyre and into the cockpit! Also you have to have a sealed(ish) bulkhead between driver and engine for racing so a gaping hole is a no no. Not that this is exactly air tight, but it shows effort.
Below is the final fit. I am pretty pleased with how this turned out.

I then turned my attention to more carboard templates for the cooling ducting in the car. I didnt take any photos but dont worry, I will when it come to making them. Hopefully this will be next week, but it seems to take me ages to get my head around all the different bends, but once I arrive it mostly comes together reasonably well.
