Slightly off the current theme, I needed to get the pump and accumulator mounted for the wiring. The pump needed to be lifted off of the floor as it is reasonably heavy, so I made up the bracket below to weld to the chassis. I tacked the bolts to the underside as there is little room to get them in when its all in place.
I then cut out a disk of ally to mount the accumulator into the cockpit. The accumulator itself is held in place with 3 M8 bolts (I only had metric rivnuts).
Below is a pic of the pump mount tacked into place. I looked at this afterwards and am not sure it is really going to do the job… I may have a change of heart next week and cut it off and start again! We shall have to see.
So, the inside now looks like this. Its all starting to fill up. I have been told that I may have to fit a standard ballast box, which is fair enough to make the standard lead fit inside, so I have tried to move things around to allow a big enough space for a box. Hence the seat pan for the passenger side is totally clear now, whereas I had intended to mount the pump and accumulator there, no real harm done though!
