One of the minor changes I am doing to the car is the front splitter. I have decided to make it from wood. This has a couple of advantages over the existing steel frame cover with fibreglass. Firstly, its cheap and easy to make spares, and I know that I am going to need a couple at least, especially whilst testing. Also it allows me to add is rubbing strips that will wear away on the ground without damaging the rest of the splitter, as I am going to effectively increase the height of the main splitter, I will explain more soon!
