Not much to report really, just thought I would let you know I have not stopped!! Unfortunately for me I am back at uni, and this weekend is the second Britcar meeting so deffo no chance of progress. However before I came back to uni I did managed to get the dampers sorted, ish. They are currently, hopefully, being valved to a very special specification, read guess, and I should get them back soon. Well thats the plan anyway. When they arrive back I will post more about them, but surfice to say, the valving profile is similar to that used on the 935 but obviously adjusted for the massive difference in overall weight, corner weights, downforce, unsprung weight etc. So not really the same at all, but the characteristics should be the similar. Obviously though we have taken a bit of a guess here, but the characteristics are by no means set in stone and the dampers can be revalved in a day or so! Penske do a massive range of pistons for the range of dampers, aswell as obviously being able to change the shim stack, so there really is a lot of potential of a. mess ups, b. speed. Lets just hope we are closer the the later rather than the former!
