Well, after the excitement of Christmas its time to get back out into the workshop. The next thing on the list, which i have the bits for, was to make the oil pipes to and from the oil cooler. The pipes are -12 aeroquip, which is a ridiculous price, but fortunately the nice guys at Think Automotive have given me quite good discount.So the first thing to do was to push the 90 degree fitting onto on end of the pipe and then screw it to the cooler. Putting the fittings onto the end of the aeroquip is not too tricky but can be frought with danger. You have to push the fitting onto the pipe quite hard, but then the strands from the braiding obviously go straight through your fingers!!
