So, this week I finished mounting the oil cooler. When looking at the cooler, it didn’t really need mounting on all 4 mounts, 3 seemed to be plenty. The top bracket has a reasonable return to stiffen it up, and the lower mount is 2 counterbored aluminium lugs with a bit of tube between. After bolting it all in it does indeed seem particularly secure, but we shall have to see.
