Again, with the wiring becoming imminent, I have put the engine into the car.

Friday, June 22nd, 2007Since i intend to do the wiring for the car next, i have been looking around for a dash system. There seem to be quite a few systems available with a massive range in price. A looked at a stack system but after being told that i would have to buy 3 systems to get any discount i decided that i would look elsewhere! The position was the same for a Motec system!
After much more searching i have decided to go for the AIM MXL system.

Friday, June 15th, 2007OK so, exams are done for the year, and its now summer time. Time to really start the build!! So having all my priorities in place I dumped all my stuff at home, and drove immediately to Lynx AE before even setting eyes on my parents, to pick up the engine cradle. Jon has shown me how to put it on, you have to put it on at an angle and then rock it over the engine, which was not the easiest thing in the world but should be easy enough when you know how!!
