Obviously I dont need/want to get tyres at the moment. Firstly they would go off during the build and secondly i dont actually need to spend the money on them at the moment. BUT, its always worth being prepared! So I have been looking around at the different constructions and compounds avaliable on the market.

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007With all of the news about BBS going under recently, I was becoming a tad worried about the wheels I ordered from them a while ago. Especially as they had to design a completely new, albeit based on an F3, centre for me.
However, I needn’t have worried, they arrived today =D See the pic below.
Suspension and Steering
Tuesday, May 8th, 2007This weekend I got the steering and suspension onto the car, although not without the odd issuette. The first thing to do was to put on the rear suspension. This was all going fine, not exactly the most difficult job in the world, until i looked at the rear steering arms. Jon has extended the top kingpins on all of the uprights, but the steering arms have not been changed. This leaves approximetly a 10mm gap between the rosejoint and the sterering arm. So i phoned up Jon and asked if i was just being an idiot, it wouldnt be the first time, but he told me that i was correct and he had not yet designed the new rear steering arms.
