After umpteen years of karting I finally decided to move on. The next decision was where to race. Recently I had helped a friend build a kit car, in fact it was a R1OT, and had tested it on a track day at Bedford. From that day on I knew I had to build something similar.
The 750 motor club run a kit car championship for road going bike engined cars, RGB, and so I thought that that looked like the thing to do. So I began to research around the subject, including going to look at one of the front running chassis, but all of the chassis didn’t really have that ‘spark’, good as they were. As luck would have it, though Chimp Tune Racing, I heard of the Lynx LR1, and a visit was arranged, although not for RGB but for Bikesports. In all honestly, as soon as I walked through the door to see it I had bought one!!! Below are some pictures of the finished article;
